2017 LAKE REALTY SPIRITUS MASTERS GOLF TOURNAMENT
The 2017 Lake Realty Spiritus Masters presented by Novant Health was another successful event. Building on the 2016 event, we had nearly 200 golfers, sponsors, volunteers and Verdict Ridge staff participate in this event on April 10, 2017 at Verdict Ridge Golf and Country Club.
Everyone enjoyed a great day of golf, food and fellowship on the beautiful grounds of Verdict Ridge, and we were once again blessed by fabulous springtime weather. Helen provided a brief message reminding us of the genesis of Spiritus Project and its mission before play, which was followed at the reception by Turkeisha Brown's first-hand observations of the impact that Spiritus Project has had on her patients. Both were truly moving and inspirational!
This year's event raised over $87,500, allowing Spiritus Project to provide much-needed assistance to adult cystic fibrosis patients.
